UsethissettingtosetthePrimaryChannelastheupperorlower20‐MHzchannelin

the40‐MHzband.

ShortGuardInterval Theguardintervalisthedeadtime,innanosec

onds,betweenOFDMsymbols.The

guardintervalpreventsInter‐SymbolandInter‐CarrierInterference(ISI,ICI).The

802.11nmodeallowsforareductioninthisguardintervalfromtheaandgdefinition

of800nanosecondsto400nanoseconds.Reducingtheguardintervalcanyielda10%

improvementinda

tathroughput.

Selectoneofthefollowingoptions:

• Enable—TheAPtransmitsdatausinga400nsguardIntervalwhen

communicatingwithclientsthatalsosupportthe400nsguardinterval.

• Disable—TheAPtransmitsdatausingan800nsguardinterval.
